A season of helium
A 200 cubic foot tank runs about $300 from a local welding-gas supplier. A blimp takes about 170 cubic feet to fill from empty, roughly $255.
After that you are replacing about one percent a day, around $2.50, with a proper top-off every three to seven days of flying.
An Ohio owner flying spring through autumn will use meaningfully less gas over a year than a Florida or Arizona owner flying year round.
Lead time
Three to seven days production from artwork approval, then two to five business days from North Carolina.
If you want it up for the spring selling season, order in February. Everyone orders in April and then wants it yesterday.
When is the best season?
Autumn for value, summer for easy flying, spring for demand.
Why does it sag on cold mornings?
Gas contracts in cold. It firms up by afternoon.
Will winter storage harm it?
No. Fold it at room temperature, not frozen.
Is artwork included?
On the blimp, yes. Both sides, full colour.
Do you service Ohio?
No. Service is greater Phoenix and Tucson only. We ship anywhere.
